Allen and Arlene are fabulous! They love our dog James and take such good care of him. There have been times where we have gone out of town last minute and he will always fit James into his schedule for walks. We give him a key to our home so he can come and go as needed. It is great that they take dogs into their home when we leave for longer trips. We are very thankful for them!

Allen was amazing! I had a family emergency and was flying out of state in two hours. I called Canine Casbah, told him my situation and he was at my house in ten minutes to meet our Labrador retriever! He texted me pictures of my girl who obviously felt like she was with family. Those pictures lifted my spirits at a time when it was most needed. I cannot say enough how greatful I am for his amazing care. He also took care of my three cats that were just getting over moving from NJ. It was completely obvious that Allen loves animals and they love him back!!! Many thanks!

Brought our two dogs on vacation with us from Canada. We were going on a cruise and needed a place for them to stay for the week. Allen offered a very personalized, worry free, and comfortable experience from prebooking questions online to emailed pictures throughout the dogs stay. The two dogs had a great time and even got a little report card/thank you note at the end of their stay! Would book again for sure!

Allen and Arlene and true dog lovers! They treat their doggie guests like family and keep owners updated throughout the stay with pictures, concerns or just general updates. They were very accommodating with drop off and return logistics and times. We will certainly use them again...in fact, I'm sure our dogs already miss them!!!

Allen and his wife are AMAZING !!!! After interviewing MANY potential sitters, we found the perfect match. They are the most gracious people I have ever met. We were so nervous about trusting a perfect stranger with our dogs but after meeting them ALL our worries were laid to rest. They kept me posted through the day as to how they were settling in and judging from the pictures they sent me, my dogs felt right at home. The peace of mind they have provided us is priceless. Most importantly, my kids loved being with them.

We are new to Marco Island and don't know many people yet. Finding a sitter was difficult as we don't wish to board our Dog at a kennel. We found Dog Vacay and Allen!!! We couldn't be happier!! Allen and his wife helped me relax and know that Bailey (11yr old Wheaten Terrier) was in a loving and caring home. They updated me with pictures and notes throughout her stay. I will make them my first call in the future!

Allen offers dogs the pet version of the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton, including daily texts and photos to eliminate all worries and guilt about leaving your dog behind when you travel. Allen even went to the store and bought treats for Buddy when he ate all the hot dogs we had provided. Strongly recommend!

Allen was amazing!!!! He was always so quick to respond when I was booking the reservation and happy to answer the questions that I had. He sent us pictures and updates of our dog, Charlie, everyday... which my young children loved getting to see their puppy everyday! What a treat! My parents were so impressed with Allen and his daily updates that they plan to use him the next time they travel. It made our vacation more relaxing knowing that Charlie was being loved on and getting more attention from Allen and his wife than he probably gets at home! haha! 🙂 Allen is wonderful and super easy to work with! We will be using him again in the future!

Allen and Arlene were great with our very shy and timid lab mix Oscar. They truly cared about his well-being and let him adjust to being away from home at his own pace. They sent updates with pictures each day and were flexible and easy-going with picking up and dropping off. We felt very good knowing Oscar was in such great hands and look forward to his next visit with them. Highly recommended.

Our dogs (Dorothy & Holly) stayed with Allen and Arlene for two weeks in April of 2016 and we couldn't have been happier with the love & care they received! We were in Marco for a family vacation and it was comforting knowing the girls were close by in a home environment. Allen & Arlene sent numerous pictures and texts during the dogs' stay and kept us informed of how things were going - those were great and showed how well the girls were fitting in/getting along in their home (they were having a more relaxing vacation that we were so the next time we go to Marco we want to stay with A&A, too)! It's evident that Allen & Arlene truly love dogs and they treat their furry guests as family (which is exactly what we were hoping for)! Thank you for a wonderful, worry-free experience - we all look forward to seeing you again in Paradise!

Allen C. and his wife were phemomenal with our dog, Motts. Initially I was very scared and concerned to leave our 10 month old Golden Doodle for 10 weeks, however, Allen quickly eased my concerns and fears. Allen speaks from his heart and everything he does comes directly from his heart!!!! Allen and his wife kept me posted on how Motts was doing and they sent me pictures to show me that Motts had no problem settling into their household. Allen and his wife always treated Motts as if he was their own dog and they truly spoiled him!!!!!!!! Next spring when we are in Marco Island, FL I will not hesitate to contact Allen when we need a sitter for Motts. In conclusion, I just cannot come up with enough words and/or phrases to describe Allen, his wife, and our positive experience with them!!!!!!!❤️

Our Georgia settled in very quickly and was getting belly rubs almost immediately from Allen and Arlene. She loved her stay with them - so much better than a boarding kennel - came home happy and healthy! Actually, we're not sure she really wanted to come home because it meant a 3 day car ride!!

Allen was great to work with and his response time was fantastic. I contacted him last minute and he made arrangements that evening for a meet and greet. Lucy and Riley enjoyed their stay with Allen. Allen is great and his response time was fantastic! He has a laid back, relaxed personality but asserts himself as the pack leader.
We felt very comfortable leaving our pup with him overnight. He had control of the dogs he was caring for and he said he would introduce our puppy to the group slowly which was comforting to me. His house is set up to allow separation of dogs that do not get along so you know they will all be safe. He is both nurturing and energetic, I would recommend him highly.

We had a wonderful experience with Dogvacay and Allen C. He is such a pleasant, knowledgeable person and we could tell immediately that he truly loves dogs and taking care of our pets. He constantly kept us updated on their status and sent pictures via text during the weekend. We are so happy that we discovered Dogvacay and will definitely use Allen C's services again. What an awesome experience we had with our dog hosts. They loved and cared for our puppies like their own. Allen and his wife sent daily updates and photos which was so reassuring to us and we were able to enjoy a worry free vacation knowing our pups were in excellent hands. Our hosts had an incredibly beautiful home and no area was off limits. Our pups swam in the pool and enjoyed fantastic outside views and had free rein of the entire house. Our hosts were responsive within minutes to any of our questions. We already are planning our next trip with it being based on our hosts availability to care for our pets.Don't think twice about booking with Allen and his wife-you and your pets will have an amazing experience.

I have had the pleasure of spending a great deal of time witnessing Allen Care for various dogs. Each time that I have been present during his encounter with a dog I have been amazed at how much love and attention he showers on them. Dogs just love him! I jokingly tell Allen that he's a ``dog whisperer,`` but I really do believe that it's an accurate description. He is patient and playful with dogs, and gets right down on the floor to engage with them. If I were a dog owner I would be honored and very comfortable leaving my dog with Allen (and his wife Arlene, who is another dog-lover.)
